Chiropractic Care

Fatigue, repetitive motion, too much sitting, improper lifting. All of these and more can lead to compressed areas of your spine that result in pain, muscle tension and nerve irritation. The bones of your spine stack on top of each other like building blocks. When pressure is put on them, they move out of their normal position. We identify these areas, move them back to where they should be and let your body heal itself.

Chiropractic Techniques and Other Modalities

Dr. Reid’s primary technique is called Diversified. He also uses his fingertips to stimulate acupuncture points, reducing tension in your muscles. Often, he combines these different methods to address the needs of your full body.

In addition to your chiropractic care, he may recommend electric muscle stimulation, TENS or intersegmental traction as part of your care. Every person who comes to our office gets specific stretches that they can do at home to help themselves get better, faster.

You might not have considered the link between your mental and physical health. When you’re under emotional stress-from pressure at your job, fights with a loved one or other various factors-it leads to physical stress. Chiropractic reduces these physical stress levels so you can relax, get the sleep you need, feel well-rested upon waking and have more energy throughout your day.

When your body is under stress, it doesn’t work as it should. The types of conditions we often address due to stress include
